Secondary asbestos exposure, also known as domestic asbestos exposure<\/a>, household asbestos exposure, or para-occupational exposure, occurs when someone is exposed to asbestos fibers indirectly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When someone works in or around asbestos and inadvertently brings home the microscopic fibers, they are endangering their family members without knowing it unless they\u2019re extra cautious.
